Can you control your tounge while driving? It's pretty hard.

If you want to learn to be a stunt car driver, move to Atlanta! Interstate 85 (better known as the constipated colon road to Atlanta) is a real challange especially since the state government messed with the Hov lanes."(It's best to prepare for the unexpected, definitely unbelieveable occurances while traveling anywhere on I-85.) "The Mystery Drive,"  downtown promises to elevate your blood pressure and challange your righteousness and imagination every single time!

Imagine tooling 65 to 75 mph in 8 lanes of traffic, singing your favorite tunes and bebobing a little to relax. Now throw in a tail gator, who resembles a hemaroid. Don't forget to add the big trucks weaving in and out of lanes, just missing your car. You're in a middle lane, boxed in on all sides. The semi, just 2 car links ahead of you in the right lane, has a major blow out. Two of his tires blow almost simultaneously together. The cute little sports car, right in front of you, takes a huge hit from flying tire parts. Suddenly, there's no way to dodge flying fiberglass, impact is inevitable. It bounces on the pavement, just before it kisses my front end. Then, of course I roll over what was once part of a trunk. "Well $#!*" flys out of my mouth.

Of course, I've just had a treatment and all this makes me sick, but there's no place to throw up, so I swallow it. Lovely huh? That was my day. How was your day?  : D  I sure hope your day was better than mine. Actually, it wasn't as bad as it could have been. Imagine how the sports car driver feels. He literally lost his hinnie! (That sports car wasn't so cute after the right rear panel and part of the trunk flew off.) He didn't stop either, we all just kept tooling up 85, thankful not to have been hurt. How many angels do you think God has watching main interstates? My guess is thousands on overtime!

What's my point? Although I try hard not to cuss-I do when I'm scared, mad or frustrated. That's one of my many sins. We all come short of the glory of God. Isn't it easier to admit our sins and ask others to pray for our weaknesses? Shouldn't we forgive and help each other? Please pray for me I travel I-85 and often loose control of my mouth.

"Likewise the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark. The tongue is also a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body It corrupts the whole person, sets the whole course of his life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell."                                                                                                             James 3:5&6 (NIV)

My Help Comes from The Lord!

" I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; From where shall my help come?My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to slip; He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel Will neither slumber, nor sleep. The Lord is your keeper; The Lord is your shade on your right hand. The sun will not smite you by day, Nor the moon by night. The Lord will protect you from all evil; He will keep your soul. The Lord will guard your going out and your coming in From this time forth and forever."  Psalm 121 (NASB)

While I was watching the afternoon news I saw a ten year old boy whose heart was working at a ten percent capacity. He would like a new heart for Christmas. If I could, I would give him mine. I hate the thought of a ten year old child suffering and I hate what his Momma must be going through.

Latter, I seen an older lady talking about health insurance. She said she hoped she'd never have to use her health care, but was glad it was there if she ever needed it. :) Reality is almost all of us, young or old, at some point in our life will have to go through the dying process. Very few will be ushered into a physical death without pain, or suffering. If we realize this, maybe we can accept our fate a little easier, when sickness comes calling in our life.

Knowing God holds my fate is so comforting for me. I will joyfully be here every minute He wants me to be here. Likewise, I'll depart to be with Him forever as soon as God calls my name. He will not have to ask me twice. :)

Happiness is a choice, but only God can give the peace that surpasses all understanding. I can't explain it. It's one of those things I wish I could take out of my heart- just for a few minutes and put in your heart so you could feel it, but I can't. Putting your trust and faith in God relieves the weight of the world, warms your heart and soul, and puts a song in your heart.

"Then Jesus again spoke to them saying, "I am the light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in darkness, but will have the Light of life."                                 John 8:12 (NASB)

If you'll read the rest of John chapter 8, I think you'll be blessed. If you haven't already ask God's Holy Spirit to come into your life, I pray you will very soon. If you'll faithfully seek God I know you'll find Him. God Bless and keep you.

Don't Worry, Be Happy!

"Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden, the God who is our salvation. God is to us a God of deliverance; And to God the Lord belong escape from death."  Psalm 68:19 & 20 (NASB)

That's a lot to be thankful and happy about right there! Shed your worries family in Christ. Our God is still in control and He's offering to lighten your load, if you'll give Him your fears and concerns. Even if we loose our earthly body to a physical death, we will live on in a perfect heavenly body.

"Your God has commanded your strength; Show yourself strong, O God, who have acted on our behalf ." Psalm 68:28 (NASB)

"O God, You are awesome from your Sanctuary. The God of Israel Himself gives strength and power to the people. Blessed be God!  Psalm 68:35 (NASB)

Be happy the God who made you, loves you and holds your fate. Faithfully stand for Him and He will help you fulfill your destiny. Make your journey to eternity a happy fulfilling trip.

Find Your Captain and Stay Close to Him.

Mark and I signed up for a little two hour Cruise down by Cumberland Island. Our boat was suppose to depart at 2:30 sharp on Friday afternoon. We were in a "new area" that we knew next to nothing about. Obviously, many other of the passengers were in the same boat we were in. In fact, there were two groups of people all waiting for the same Cruise. Both groups were certain they were in the right place waiting to board.

After talking to people in both groups I decided I would go directly to the office and ask them where I should wait. As it turned out neither group was right. I was introduced to the captain and told to follow him to get on board. Walking by the two different groups I told them this is our captain. Some listened and followed, others stayed where they thought they should wait.

Life is full of choices, but we all should choose wisely. Eternity is a long time, we need to find the One and only way to God the Father-through Jesus the Son. If you haven't found Him yet, please read the book of John.

Read: John chapter 3
Then Read John chapter 5

"Truly, truly I say to you, he who hears my word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgement, but has passed out of death into life."   John 5:24 (NASB)

What Does it Mean to be a Child of God?

You're a chosen person of great value to God and other believers! God will assist you in every part of life, if you'll let Him. You have a purpose-to glorify God all the days of your life!

"I took you from the ends of the earth, from the farthest corners I have called you. I said,"You are my servant; I have chosen you and not rejected you. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you and uphold you with my righteous right hand."                                                                                                                Isaiah 41:9-10 (NASB)

"I will make rivers flow on barren heights, and springs within the valleys. I will turn the desert into pools of water, and the parched ground into springs."                 Isaiah 41:18 (NASB)

"Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every deed into judgement, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil."
                                                                                                           Ecclesiastes 12:13b-14 (NASB)

"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow His precepts have good understanding. To him belongs eternal praise.                                            Psalm 111:10 (NASB)

"And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus."
                                                                                                                     Philippians 4:18 (NASB)

A child of God will have all they need, not everything they want, but all they need. In the Good and Bad times give God the glory! There's much to learn in every circumstance of life. Grow closer to Christ Jesus and other believers-the Best is yet to come.

"Therefore as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourself with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as the members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful."                                                                            Colossians 3:12-15 (NASB)

Are You a Scardy Cat, or a Warrior?

Do you think Jesus was annoyed when His disciples were so afraid when the ship was tossed about by the stormy waves? They'd seen Him take care of all kinds of problems, feeding the five thousand and healing the sick. Ironically, a lot of people still panic in adversity despite knowing all the events that took place in the Bible.

He is still the same today as He was yesterday. He still heals, feeds and calms the storms today. Yet, there are times He chooses to ride the storms with us. He calms His child while the cancer, financial and personal storms rage. If you're in the midst of one of these storms don't be afraid. God knows exactly where you are. He'll sweep you up into His loving arms, and hold you close, if you'll by faith, ask Him. Without faith, were are merely walking dead men.

Faith in Christ gives us everything we will ever need in life. :) You're equipped to handle anything this life throws at you-Press On!

Read : Matthew 8:23-27 Then Read: Psalm 146

"Do not put your trust in princes, in mortal men, who can not save." Psalm 146:3
"Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God, the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them the Lord, who remains faithful forever.
                                                                                                                        Psalm 146:5&6 (NASB)

"Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?
                                                                                                                       John 11:25 & 26 (NASB)

Gossip is Destructive, It Needs to be Confronted

Have you ever over heard two people talking about you, when they thought you were out of ears reach? It hurts doesn't it? Probably, everyone has experienced this at some point in their life. I think the best thing a person can do when this happens is to confront the gossiper at the time it's happening. This will quickly stop rumors and back biting in its tracks. Hopefully, both the gossiper and the naive listener will realize how crude they are being.

"A perverse man stirs up dissension, and a gossip separates close friends." Proverbs 16:28 (NASB)

How sad that this even needs to be addressed to brothers and sisters in Christ. We should know better and act better. Doesn't every believer have enough trouble, without added conflict from a brother or sister in Christ?

"He who brings trouble on his family will inherit only wind, and a fool will be servant to the wise." Proverbs 11:29 (NASB)

I don't think it's talking about a bad case of gas here, but that would be very funny if the gossiping lips got a bad case of the noisy tooty fruitys in the midst of their mouthy ways. Wouldn't it be the berries if along with those windy toots, came a rank odor? Maybe at that point those anxious to listen to gossip could get a good whiff of what they're listening to besides.

The next time you're tempted to gossip, or to listen to it, may God bless you with a gassy belly to help you remember how rude and counter productive you are being.

Finally, remember what 1st Corinthians chapter 13 says. "If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal." 1st Corinthians 13:1 (NASB) READ ON

Stay Focused on Christ and His Will for Your Life

"I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory, that will be revealed in us. The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed in us."
                                                                                                                  Romans 8:18 &19 (NASB)

One of the most painful memories in life is watching our loved ones suffer physically or mentally. If we could, we'd gladly bare their pain for at least a while to give them a break if we could. Often, the disease or circumstance remains until God calls them home.

Those of us who know Christ as our Savior and Lord have an eternal peace because we have been justified and forgiven by faith in Christ. His grace also gives us a hope and promise that this life is not the end, but the beginning of an awesome eternity with Him in heaven.

Growing in Christ is sometimes painful, (both physically and spiritually.)  Most of us will experience the pain of loosing loved ones, our own physical disease and decay and sometimes an emptiness that can only be filled by Christ. All three of these circumstances can draw us closer to Christ,  if we let them.

"...We also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance, perseverance, character, and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us because God has poured out His love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom He has given us.
                                                                                                                Romans 5:5 (NASB)

Ironically, there have been days my body has been stretched beyond what I thought ever possible to live through. God gives the strength, grace and love to endure a little more. Because of those times my faith, endurance, and even my peace about His Will for my life is at a deeper trusting level. Horrible storms in life have a beautiful way of developing a deep secure relationship in Christ.

Maybe when our loved ones are experiencing hard times we could encourage them to let Jesus cradle their broken bodies. If they're close enough to God and want to describe the tender lessons they're learning- absorb everything they're sharing. God may also want to comfort your hurting heart through their life and love they're willing to share. These maybe some of the most tender lessons you'll learn together.Knowing your loved one is at peace, will give you peace.

Please hug and hold them if they want to be held. I love being held by the people I'm closest to.(Honestly though, there are times when it hurts too much to be held. Most people will let you know if you ask.)  Reading comforting verses may also help, ask them if they'd like to hear Bible passages.

In my own life looking back at both the good and bad that has made me who I am Paul's words describe how I feel the best!

"My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge."
                                                                                                              Colossians 2:2 & 3 (NASB)

"For though I am absent from the body, I am present with you in spirit and delight to see how orderly you are and how firm your faith in Christ is."                     Colossians 2:5  (NASB)

Finally, I would encourage you to read and take to heart Hebrews chapters 12 and 13. Throw off everything that hinders and brings you down. You are surrounded by "the great cloud of witnesses." (Those treasured saints who are already in God's presence, they are cheering you on to grow and become all God wants you to be for His Glory and your true gain!)

At What Point Do We Walk Away?

I'm frustrated, at what "point" do we say, "Okay, that's it-I'm done with you?" I have a very redneck, mouthy sister who my parents choose to baby and coddle beyond belief. She was in an accident which left her with some physical scars. She did have a head injury, but currently there is no reason for her abrasive, mule ways. She simply chooses to be the biggest jerk I've ever met.

While I was at my mother's she took every opportunity she possibly could to interrupt every conversation I was in. When she addressed me she was constantly loud and crude. My parents continue to tell me I need to include and embrace her. All I want to do is to get as far away from her as I can. No confrontation with her or my parents; that's be the easiest way out. We all know that will not resolve the fact that they'll all come back saying I'm trying to avoid her-and I am.

There is no easy solution while she cackles as she makes my life miserable. She has my parents in her sorry back pocket. While all this is going on my parents refuse to acknowledge her abusive ways. She also has one of her son's who is following her example, diving into grouse sins, that are affecting many other lives. Is our family contributing to these grouse sins which affect many lives besides just my sister and her son? I think so.

So do I call them all on the carpet or just tell them all I have a gut full and can't take anymore? Your advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

"Do not be deceived,God is not mocked; for whatever a man so this he will also reap." Galatians 6:7 (NASB)

Are you thankful for the Holy Spirit's prompting in your life?

The morning glories on my back porch remind me how much we should keep our heart where it belongs-with God. When they're watered well the grow and spread so very fast. When I fail to check on them they tend to head directly for everything they shouldn't like my yellow roses. Growing side by side they look great, but when they becme intwined well life isn't so divine. In fact-they will choke the roses to death, if they're allowed to just keep wraping their vines around the rose stems.

My life can be like that. As long as I allow the Holy Spirit toguide and direct me I will stay on track, but sometimes I just head off in the wrong direction and keep going, until God gently prods me back to His track. I'm very thankful for the Holy Spirit aren't you?

Yellow roses and deep lavander morning glories look and grow great together as long as their is respect for each others growing space. Christian relationships are like that too. We all need our time and space alone with God. It's great to grow together as long as the Holy Spirit guides and directs our paths.

"But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to rememberance all that I have said to you. Do not let your heart be troubled , nor let it be fearful." John 14:26 (NASB)

Life in Christ-God's Greatest Blessing on Your Life!

"How blessed is everyone who fears the Lord, Who walks in His ways. When you shall eat of the fruit of your hands, You will be happy and it will be well with you. Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine Within your house, Your children are like olive plants Around your table. Behold, for thus shall the man be blessed Who fears the Lord.

The Lord bless you from Zion, And may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life. Indeed, may you come to see your children's children. Peace be upon Isreal!" Psalm 128 (NASB)

Do you ever consider how blessed we are to walk in God's light? Personally knowing our creator and sustainer eases the tensions of life with His help. As we release our will to His will, life falls into place as it should. Burdens are lifted with Grace and peace replaces a heavy yoke.

"Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you andd learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."
Matthew 11:28-30 (NASB)

"The fear of the Lord prolongs life, But the years of the wicked will be shortened."
Proverbs 10:27 (NASB)

"The way of the Lord is a stronghold to the upright, But ruin to the workers of iniquity." Proverbs 10:29 (NASB)

We were made in God's image. If we live life on His terms, we should be the happiest most fulfilled beings, because we are living the way He designed us to be. Before you were born God had a plan for your life. Glorifying Him will make you happy and satisfied all the days of your life!

"The Lord lives, and blessed be my rock; And exalted be the God of my salvation,"
2nd Samuel 22:47 (NASB)

Read Second Samuel chapter 22, this passage is truly a believers blessing! The day you accepted Jesus as your personal Savior you gained Everything in life you would ever need. Spring forth with confidence, good cheer and know you are a winner in Christ Jesus!

What is the Differerence between Clean and Un Clean;Do you Know?

I'm always amazed how different societies think they can out whit, or out maneuver God. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Man has not evolved into a better species. In fact, I'd dare say society seems more ignorant today than they were a generation ago. I was in Walmart this morning. A small child about 3 stood in the middle of an isle, playing with an adult kitchen utensil, she could have easily been injured. I stopped the cart waiting for the mother, or father to take the object away from her. After 3 to 5 minutes the mother did reach down and take the sharp grater away from her, but left the little girl setting in the middle of the isle. At that point I asked, "Would you mind moving your daughter, so she doesn't get hurt setting there?"

Honestly, I've seen deer in headlights with more sense than these two parents, "Oh, okay." That's a prime example of why children should be raised and not hatched. Little by little we give up more of doing what is right, there will be a price for the lack of responsibility. The down hill slide is quickly coming to an end.

As our nation fails to teach our children about God, His ways and keep pulling away from God, He will bring this society to an end.

Read Ezekiel 22. Israel has always been his chosen people, but He is just with All. He will be just with America as well.

"Behold, then, I smite My hand at your dishonest gain which you have acquired and at the bloodshed which is among you. Can your heart endure, or can your hands be strong in the days I will deal with you? I the Lord have spoken and will act. I will scatter you among the nations and will disperse you through the lands, and I will consume your uncleanness from you. You will profane yourself in the sight of the nations, and you will know that I am the Lord."
Ezekiel 22:13-16 (NASB)

"Son of man, say to her, "You are a land that is not cleansed or rained on in the day of indignation.' There is a conspiracy of her prophets in her midst like a roaring lion tearing the prey. They have devoured lives; they have taken treasure and precious things; they have made many widows in the midst of her. Her priests have done violence to my law and have profaned My holy things; they have made no distinction between the holy and the profane, and they have not taught the difference between the unclean and the clean, and they hide their eyes from My Sabbaths, and I am profaned among them. Ezekiel 22:24-26 (NASB)

Just because God seems silent, do not take that for His toleration. He patiently hopes we will turn around. If we choose not to turn back to Him, God will punish us as well.

"Thus I have poured out My indignation them; I have consumed them with the fire of My wrath; their way I have brought upon their heads, declares the Lord God." Ezekiel 22:31 (NASB)

Do you know the difference between clean and unclean? Can you discern between what is holy and unholy? Are you observing the Sabbath Day and keeping it holy? The Only way you will know is to study God's word and seek His guidance through His Word-the Bible.

If the church you are going to is practicing immoral sex acts inside it's congregation, stealing from the elderly for the churches dishonest gain, or doing other dirty acts get away from that group of people. They are unclean, wolves in sheep's clothing.

If you want to please God seek Him through the Bible first, attend a Bible preaching and practicing church. Do Not be deceived by wolves in sheep's clothing. You are accountable to God.

Does Chivalry Still Live?

Yes, it does. I saw it in my son last Friday.

I never regret spending quality time alone with each one of my children. Each time I do I find awesome God instilled qualities in each one of them. Michael was in GA. for an important interview last Friday. He has recently completed a mechanical engineer degree, and desires to put it to use here in GA. How we'd love to have both Mike and Neva back.

Latter that day Mike asked me to ride along while he tied up some loose ends, so we spent time talking. We stopped at a gas station for some gas. He noticed a lady who couldn't start her car. An older gentleman was trying to jump start her, but simply couldn't get her started.

Slowly, Michael approached the two. "How's it going?'

"Not very well, I've been working on this for over 20 minutes now. I can't get it going. I don't know what else to do."

Mike smiled and nodded. "Mam, do you mind if I take a look at it?"

"Please do."

The older man took off and Mike stood there looking the car over. He looked up, "Mam, you have a extra amp wire here that was improperly installed. It probably drained your battery completely dead. Could I unhook it, clean your cables off and then try to give you a jump?"

"Yes, please do."

Within 5 short minutes Michael had her car running again. "Mam, you need a new battery. After you get a new battery you should have that amp wire installed correctly."

"How much do I owe you?"

"Nothing, just get yourself a new battery. :) "

For a brief moment, I saw that white knight he use to finger paint on a white horse which often decorated my refrigerator door when he was little. But in place of the finger paint, there he was..my beloved son in whom I am so well pleased with. Who would have know how God would have stamped so much love, grace and wisdom on my beautiful son. But that's my Awesome God, stamping His ways through living, loving and growing through the years!

"A plan in the heart of a man is like deep water, but a man of understanding draws it out.

Many a man proclaims his own loyalty, But who can find a trust worthy man?

A righteous man who walks in integrity-How blessed are his sons after him.

Proverbs 20:5-7 (NASB)

God calls Husbands to be the Head of the House

"Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him." Proverbs 30:5

I began reading, "The Fruit of Her Hands," by Nancy Wilson this morning. I never really thought too much about how much a wife can influence her husband's life by how she treats him. But then that makes perfect sense in another way. Most of us marry for companionship, a love life and to commit a life long journey relationship with a person we'd like to spend the rest of our life with. Of all the people in the world you need your spouses acceptance and love more than anyone Else's.

She brought up the fact that if we have a good opinion of our spouse they should feel good about them self. A positive outlook will make both partners more productive, happy and the relationship will continue to grow and blossom into a beautiful life together.

She mentioned another very important fact, every husband should be the head of the home. Sometimes this is a difficult thing for Mark and I. He simply does not like leading. I jump in all to quickly- to save the day. God designed women to follow their husbands not lead them. I do not want to be lead, but my patience will only wait a short time before I jump up to take the reigns. Sometimes those eager beaver moves cost us in more ways than one.

God made no mistakes in placing the husband as the head of the marriage. Please pray for me to learn to wait for Mark's direction. Everyone is happier and healthier obeying God's commands.

Likewise you wives, be submissive to your own husbands, that even if some do not obey the word, they, without a word, may be won by the conduct accompanied by the fear of the Lord." 1 Peter 3:1-3

We all fall short of the glory of God. No wife has a reason to seek out a new leader just because you married one without leading skills. We need to ask God to prompt those leadership qualities. Praising him when he does take the lead will help too.

I'll ask for God's blessing on all of us in this area of our lives. I guess a good cheerleader is always needed in family life, friendships and in God's family! Encouragement inspires desire to do well!

God bless you!

We Need Each Other so Much!

As I ran and crashed through the front doors of the Ionia High School, which was then located on Union Street in Ionia, Michigan, I sprung straight up in the air taping the tops of my toes with my fingers. Dropping just beyond that fourth step I hit the ground running, racing to the end of the next three steps, I propelled my body straight up into the air, kicked my feet to my butt and with arms flung open wide I yelled, "Look out World, Here I come!"

Finally, that Junior year was over and I was a Senior in high school! As I ran past one of my high school friends I remember them giggling and screaming out, "Way to go, Kath!"

Does life get any better than this? At the time I didn't think so.

My life has been filled with happy occasions like that one, that I choose to keep front and center in my mind. On the bad days I remember the great times. Those flash points keep me where I'd rather be in life-happy. I choose not to recall bad memories unless it's necessary to protect of my mind, or soul. Does that make sense?

Last week was even better than that last day of my Junior year. Heidi flew in from KC Missouri. We laughed, talked, shopped, swam and hugged so much. Then on Friday night Mike and Neva came home from South Carolina. My house was full of laughter, funny stories and so much love. The smell of baking bread and brownies dripping with vanilla ice cream added even more comfort just before going to bed around one o'clock. We all went to bed with happy blessed hearts from being together again.

Still cutting up, with loving hearts, we had fun taking some family photos out in the back yard on Saturday around noon. Later that day Mike and Neva went back home and Heidi flew back to Andrew in KC, but we enjoyed such a sweet time together. Life does get better in every stage we enter if we only look for those wonderful snap shot memories! God is Always so Good!

"but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love."

Ephesians 4:15 & 16 (NASB)

If you'll read Ephesians chapters 4 and 5 I know god will bless you with direction and potential growth if you will apply it to your life. :)

"The Lord bless you, and keep you; The Lord make His face to shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance on you, And give you peace.'

So they shall invoke my name on the sons of Israel, and I will bless them."

We've Lost most of our Freedom because of Passive Behavior

Did you know you can take a frog and place it in a pan of luke warm water and slowly increase the temperature until it boils and that frog will sit right there until it is cooked. Americans like the frogs have become so passive, that we've literally let our God given rights and freedoms go. Sharia law, homosexuality, garbage on television, sex ting and songs with some of the foulest lyrics imagined create a stench in our country for the world to smell. Why have we sat idly by while our country swirls down the drain pipe?

Probably because like boiled frogs, we allow just a little garbage in at first. Sometimes a little sin even seems fun, but Satan has a tickling way of desensitization. First, he allows a tastes, then a bite, before you know it you've swallowed a whole poisonous meal. Satan sneers while we die lavished in sin.

Wake up America, look at what You've allowed to enter your minds, hearts and souls.

"And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, being filled with unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil, full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice, they are gossips, slanders, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful; and although they know the ordinances of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them." Romans 1:28-32 (NASB)

Think about Roman burning while Nero played. Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed by God heaving fire and brimstone down on both cities because of immorality. God has brought every nation and kingdom down to ruins when He is ignored, do you really believe America is infallible? Think Again-God has not changed we have.

Ps: If I've startled you with a new temperature, good! Pick up your Bible start reading and gleaning. You'll be surprised how it will improve your sight, life and standing with God.
Those who stand for Nothing will Fall for Anything.

Isaiah 40 is Awesome!

"All flesh is grass, and all its loveliness is like the flower of the field.

The grass withers, the flower fades, When the breath of the Lord blows on it; Surely the people are grass.

The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever."
Isaiah 40:6-8 (NASB)

Forgive me for not writing sooner. I've been working outside, :) painting pictures, singing and dancing more! Dr. Dhere has adjusted my medicines and I'm feeling much better. I'm even sweating like a snow cone on the 4Th of July while I'm outside, which is great for me! You can't imagine how high your temperature can climb when you don't sweat.

I'm always amazed, and so thankful for my friends and family who pray, for the doctors and people who help me, but most of all for the closeness I feel to God by traveling all the roads that I have been down in my life time. I can truly say that through it all, God's constant presence is Always there.

"Like a shepherd He will tend is flock. In His arm He will gather the lambs And carry them in His bosom. He will gently lead the nursing ewes."
Isaiah 40:11(NASB)

All of us like sheep tend to go astray from time to time. But aren't you glad our heavenly shepherd gently guides us back? I love the closeness when I'm snuggled in His bosom! I could stay there forever. But then He puts us back on our feet and says, "go on now- just stay close enough to hear my voice, always trust and obey." After a gentle hug from above, we're off and running again. :) Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus, just to know thus saith the Lord!

"Who has measured the waters in the hollow of His hand; And marked off the heavens by the span, And calculated the dust of the earth by the measure, And weighed the mountains in a balance, And the hills in a pair of scales?"
Isaiah 40:12 (NASB)

"To whom then will you liken God? Or what likeness will you compare with Him?"
Isaiah 40:18 (NASB)

"It is He who sits above the circle of the earth, And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers, Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in. He who reduces rulers to nothing. Who makes the judges of the earth meaningless. Scarcely have they been planted. Scarcely have they been sown. Scarcely their stock take root in the earth, But he merely blows on them, and they wither, And the storm carries them away like stubble."
Isaiah 40:24 (NASB)

"Do you not know? Have you not heard? The everlasting God , The Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth Does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable. He gives strength to the weary. And to him who lacks might He increases power.

Though youths grow weary and tired And vigorous young men stumble badly,

Yet those who wait upon the Lord Will gain new strength, They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary." Isaiah 40:28-31 (NASB)

Whatever this life may bring you to, God promises to see you through if you'll only wait on His providence. Trust and obey for there's No other way to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.

Would you ask God to help me finish a painting I'm working on concerning Revelation chapter 19? I'm thoroughly enjoying painting again, but I really want to do a great job on this one for many reasons. I want to help people see the fullness of God-He isn't just meek and mild He is also swift, just, righteous! Our God speaks and life and death come to pass.

Reality

"As for man, his days are like grass; As a flower of the field, so he flourishes.

When the wind has passed over it, it is no more, And its place acknowledges it no longer. Psalm 103:15 and 16 (NASB)

Every day I find myself stumbling over the thought, "there is so much more I should do before I leave this world." Daily, I feel our Heavenly Father smile and say,"Your time on earth will last until your simple tasks are done." With that thought, I relax and go back to my "minds assignments for that day." Just waiting on His provisions for each day.

Still, the frustration of lack of accomplishments in my life get me down. Do my family and friends really know how much I love them? Have I helped others see God the Father like I was suppose to? I've fallen so short so often. How many have I led astray on the bad days, fiery attitudes, or poor choice of words? These things make me sad. Once the words or actions have passed there's no way to take them back. Worse yet, were there days I could have spent fruitfully with family and friends, instead of doing useless repetitious tasks?

Then I look out at the grass in my back yard. I am simply one blade of grass in a vast zillion blades that make up His plan. A hundred years from now will anything I've written, said or done be remembered by even one person? God is my record keeper-no one else.

"He has made everything appropriate in its time. He has set eternity in their heart, yet-so that man will not find out the work which God has done from beginning even to the end.

I know there is nothing better for them than to rejoice and to do good in ones lifetime; moreover, that every man who eats and drinks sees good in all his labor- it is the gift of God. I know that everything God does will remain Forever; there is nothing to add to it and there is nothing to take away from it, for God so worked that men should fear Him. Ecclesiastes 3:11-14 (NASB)

"But the loving kindness of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, And His righteousness to children's children, To those who keep His covenant And Remember His precepts to do them."

Psalm 103:17 and 18 (NASB)

Remember Who clothes, feeds, and sustains you all the days of your life. If you can, go to a tranquil place outside and read Psalm 104 today or sometime this weekend. Soak up God's awesome creation-another way He shows us how much He loves and cares for us. God bless you today and always.

"God never makes Junk!"

An old friend gave me a book called, "Born for Love," a long time ago. I think I've read that book from cover to cover at least five times now. It's one of those books you can glean many positive principles from every concept. Thinking about the different kinds of love I've experienced throughout life and how wonderful they have all been, I know love is the best part of my life!

Life is just to short not to give and accept as much love as we possibly can! Ironically, the more love you freely give the more love you will gain. Love is continuously mirrored back. God creates every single person with gifts and talents to share with others. As my Momma still says,"God never makes junk!" (She always says this with a glare in her eye when people begin degrading another human because of their skin color, economic status or "limited abilities." She is a retired special education bus driver.) She has always believed there is much to learn from everyone God would ever put into any of our lives. Momma, you were so right!

In my 50 years on this earth, there have been many different people of all kinds of ethnic, social, economic back grounds with various mental and social capabilities. Every single person has had God given worth and taught me at least one valuable lesson. Some gave me pain, but still it added to my gain. Most though, I can honestly say were a blessing to know and I am so thankful God put our paths together.

So many of you have helped me, multiplied my joy, love and even desire for life! You've prayed with and for me. Some of you have cried with and for me. God bless you my dearest friends. Together we've smiled, laughed and even fought. I just want you to know that I truly do love you and thank God for you.

Today, if you encounter a bitter person, please try to show them love and grace. So often those who need the most love get the least amount of love. Your desire maybe to slap them verbally or physically but try to help them see God's love through you. Maybe these words of wisdom from Proverbs will help.

"Cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken. But you, O God, will bring them down to the pit of destruction. Men of bloodshed and deceit will not live out half their days."

Psalm 55:22 and 23 (NASB)

"Do not lie in wait, O wicked man, against the righteous; Do not destroy his resting place; for a righteous man falls seven times and rises again, But the wicked stumble in time of calamity.

Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, And do not let your heart be glad when he stumbles; Or the Lord will see it and be displeased, and turn His anger away from him." Proverbs 24:15-18 (NASB)

Please read Psalm 66. His word have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against Him. His word never returns void. Thank you for being my friend, I love you.

By His Stripes We are Healed

Isn't it amazing the extents we will go for the people and things we love in life?

Roses have always been one of my favorite flowers. As beautiful as they are their thorns are so painful. I was working outside in my yard yesterday. I was cutting and wrapping chicken wire around the bottom of some of the bushes. Hopefully, they will grow like pretty bouquets. Needless to say between the thorns and the wire my hands, arms and legs ended up looking like I'd been beaten with a cat of nine tails; blood dripped everywhere.

While I was out front, a group of teenagers walked by. I over heard one of them make a comment about how much it must hurt. I grinned and said, "Yes, you have to love flowers very much to do this. Imagine how much Jesus loved you as He died for you. This is nothing compared to His pain."

While He was on the cross was He thinking about how beautiful your life would be because of His love? I'm sure He was. Passion will always exceed suffering especially if it's long term worth out weighs temporary pain. Happy hearts, joyful souls and so many lives with a purpose for God exists today all because Jesus loved you beyond life and death. His sinless life, and sacrificial death for you is the only bridge to God the Father and eternal life.

"and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness, for by His wounds you were healed. For you were continually straying like sheep, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Guardian of your souls." 1 Peter 2:24 &25 (NASB)

Don't fear the death of your mortal body, it simply is the vessel that your soul (the real you lives in.) Give your heart and soul to Jesus, accept Him as your Personal Savior and Lord, so that you can enjoy heaven with the only one who will grant you eternal life.

Are You Afraid to Love?

There are so many people who are afraid to love. Love like life can rarely be planed, it happens in some of the least expected places. In fact, you probably will not find true love when you seek, chase or expect it.

True love comes when you know a person's flaws and differences, yet you appreciate, need and want to be around them. Couples often compliment each other with their differences. For example you may be introverted in groups, but your partner loves socializing. As a couple you can learn to be happy in both situations. The differences in personalities enhance each other. Ideally, both personalities will help each other grow into the most they can become.

Friendships should also be a place to develop personalities. We're often attracted to opposite personalities from our own aren't we? That may be a God given instinct to seek what we are lacking. I think about my friends and neighbors who gently lead me back to the right path. I thank God so much for them.

Relationships are often misleading or deceiving but when they are, it is not because of love. Love comes from God. The human heart is desperately wicked who can know it? (How often does the Bible say that? Many, many times doesn't it!) Satan always has his nasty little ways of throwing daggers or piercing love with snares of temptation. Temptations always hit us in our weakest spots. Before we know it that person's perfume, or Cologne does more than attract our sense of smell. We find our mind wondering ... So just a little flirting begins, if it continues it could mean both people are in for a down hill slide.

How many families are destroyed because of little temptations that lead to deep emotions, or flings that put both partners families lives into jeopardy?

How can we safe guard against these pit falls? Honestly, NONE of us are ever out of danger of the pit falls. The only way we can protect ourselves, families and God's glory is to stay grounded in Christ Jesus, not on a superficial level, but a true intimacy level. You can go to every church function there is and never know God on an intimate level. You must love Him first before you can truly love others.

The only thing worse than loving and being crushed by it is never loving at all. What a waste of a life and missed blessings. Pain from relationships must be healed by God. Let Him wash, hold and love you-then return that love first in forgiveness and then by loving those you chose to reject. They still seek your friendship and love.

Learn to be Happy

It is so hard to understand why life is the way it is sometimes. Last Friday (May 27 Th I had my 2ND treatment in a single week, because my skin broke open and infection around my stoma had set in. ) While I was at Emory Hospital I met two nice young men. Both had developed Crohn's at a very young age.

One of them was very receptive to doing as much for God as he is able to do in his life. He saw Crohn's as just an unfortunate disease, and like me, wasn't bitter that he has it. God can use all of life's circumstances for His good. We must let Him work through us, regardless of our out come. We are on earth to learn and grow; we win when Christ is glorified through our life.

The other young man was not so receptive. He doubted God's existence, because of his circumstance. Life isn't always fair or kind. In fact, life can be brutal, can't it? The truth is we all will endure bumps, bruises and gashes from love, life and circumstance along the way. (Last week my arms looked like I'd been through a war zone. Monday was especially brutal when they had to stick me five times before getting a vein for my treatment. Yes, it hurt. Friday they only had to poke me twice.)

As bad as last week was, yesterday I went swimming! Actually I was chunky dipping. I still have an infection; it still hurts most of the time, but life and love go on. The freedom of swimming naked is absolutely wonderful, when no one else is around! If you have never tried it, imagine spinning freely, touching nothing, with bright sunshine and limitless warm water totally all around you. It's like God letting you splash and play in His infinite love! This is a luxury I will miss most about this life when I leave this body. (Obviously, some of us never really grow up-right? But those of us who still laugh and play still enjoy life almost every day!)

We have so many choices in life. But every choice makes us who we are. I really hope you'll choose to be happy, in spite of the bumps in the road of life. Life is too short not to get to know God and be happy.

If you would like to pray for me, I would appreciate your prayers. I may be facing another surgery. Honestly, I'm tired and weak, but God knows and will give me what I need at just the right time. (Heaven gets closer for me every day. :) In His time He makes all things beautiful, even scared up broken bodies.) I go for a cat scan on Tuesday and see the surgeon again on the 10Th. If you'd like to see what Crohn's is doing to my skin on the outside, tell me and I will email you a picture, but it is nasty and a bit much for most people to look at. Yes, I'm hurting.

Read Philippians Chapter 4.

"But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at last you have revived your concern for me; indeed you were concerned for me before, but you lacked opportunity. Not that I speak from want, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstance I am in." Philippians 4:10 &11 (NASB)

"I can do all things through Him who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13 (NASB)

"And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:19 (NASB)

Love is Ageless

Actually Love is better than ageless, it grows sweeter than a fine wine with time!

"Love is the long sought fountain of youth. As long as we love, we remain young. Death becomes simply the final stage of development in life. It is well to remember that we are transient guests on earth. Less than a century is not long to live, but it is long enough to learn that love is what it's all about." Leo Buscaglia-one of my favorite authors! (Taken from his book, "Born for Love".)

We all were born and we all may die, but how many of us will really live?

To really live we must first learn to really love whole heartily. Loose the fear of being hurt by love. True love is ever given, or received without pain at some point in the relationship. As long as we live we sin-sin causes pain. Still, where would we be without love?

(I'd be dead. Love spurs me on when I would like to give in and give up. Loving prayers from those who love me continue to prompt God to restore my body and soul often. Thank you for those prayers. Thank God for His loving kindness.)

"If I can stop one heart from breaking,

I shall not live in vain

If I can ease one life from aching,

or cool one pain,

or help one fainting robin into his nest again,

I shall not live in vain.

Emily Dickinson

Separateness is an illusion.

"Love is the most effective connection to all things. It has the power to enlighten, heal, unite, enrich and restore. All we need is to open it." (Leo Buscaglia)

Real living requires the defensive walls to come down. We must expose our true self, and embrace others and life without the fear of failure and pain. If those you truly love can't accept or embrace you, then there never was love anyway.

Isn't it interesting, that true beauty in a human being only fades when love is gone. The wrinkles, gray hair and even body flab doesn't take away from your value. If you're growing in love, aging issues mean nothing to those who value and love you. Decreased abilities such as performance issues, or even limited mental abilities do not subtract from others love for you. You can give love and keep accepting love as long as you're alive. Love is a choice. Love is one of those few gifts the more you give-the more you'll gain!

"...Knowledge makes arrogant, but love edifies." Last part of 1 Corinthians 8:1 (NASB)

Read 1 Corinthians chapter 13

Finally I would encourage you to love as Christ loved; with outstretched arms and always with an open and giving heart.

God's Power is Perfect in Our Weakness!

Please Read Acts Chapter 27, either before or after reading this.

Imagine being on a trip you dread, you are already sick, but now you have to sail in the midst of cold turbulent water. As a prisoner you are being taken to appear before Cesar on trial, so you have no choice. You board a stinky cold ship, feeling horrible, you try to stay positive. The ship sets sail in the worst of conditions.

A few days out, things only get worse, the waves grow stronger, all hands on deck are scurrying doing everything they can just to keep the small boat in a vast sea floating. Food is scarce, and because the stars were hidden by clouds, the captain has sailed off course

With little food, and sunken hopes of living through this, Paul stands up and tries to encourage his jailer and the deck hands. "Yet I urge you to keep your courage, for there will be no loss of life among you, but only of the ship. For this very night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve stood before me, saying do not be afraid, Paul; you must stand before Cesar; and behold God has granted you all those who are sailing with you. Therefore keep up your courage, men, for I believe that it will turn out exactly as I have been told." Acts 27:22-25 (NASB)

If I were one of those deck hands my thoughts might have been, "Great-even if I survive the icy water, will I have the strength to swim to shore? Even if I do, how will I ever get back home to my family and friends?"

Paul goes on to encourage them to eat because he knows they're going to need energy to finish this journey either by working harder than they've ever had to, or swimming like an awesome fish. Finally after literally working their hinnies off, they see an island.

Then, the soldiers plan to kill the prisoners. Typically a jailer's head would have rolled if his prisoner got away. Poor Paul, he doesn't seem to be able to win for loosing, but wait...God is on his side!

"but the centurion, wanting to keep Paul safely through, kept them from their intention, and commanded that those who could swim should jump over board first and get to land, and the rest should follow, some on planks, and others on various things from the ship. And so it happened that they were all brought safely to land." Acts 27:43&44 (NASB)

I love this example of life in Christ! Do you understand? Even though God loves you as He did Paul, YOU are going to experience the pits of life, love and adventures, but like Paul, God will see you through! In the storms of life embrace and seek the grace of Christ.

Keep Growing and Going You are not Home yet!

"And He said to me,

"My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfect in weakness."

Second Corinthians 12:9 (NASB)

...But a woman who fears the Lord shall be praised

"While Jesus was saying these things, one of the women in the crowd raised her voice and said to Him, "Blessed is the womb that bore You and the breasts at which You nursed."

But He said,"On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God and observe it."

Luke 11: 27 and 28 (NASB)

Do these words shock you? They shouldn't. Who is worthy of Glory, Honor and praise?

"saying with a loud voice,

Worthy is the lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing."

And every created thing which is in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all things in them, I heard saying,

To Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, be blessing and honor and glory and dominion forever and ever."

Revelation 5:12-13 (NASB)

God entrusted each of us to the best mother according to our needs. Mary was the best mother for Jesus, just as you were given to your mother because of your personality, physical, and spiritual being. Although we love our mothers dearly, we must love, the author and perfecter of our faith-God even more.

If you were blessed with a Godly mother who taught you about your Heavenly Father, praise God for her. Thank Him for entrusting your life to her.

If your Momma wasn't a believer, there is still a reason God put you in her care. If she is alive share Jesus with her. You may have been born to lead her to Christ.

If you've been blessed with children, spend your life as a mother showing them love for God by example. Your children's salvation should be your greatest joy. God forbid any family member would be lost because of our lack of example, or lack of love.

"Only give heed to yourself and keep your soul diligently, so that you do not forget the things which your eyes have seen and they do not depart from your heart all the days of your life; but make them known to your sons and your grandsons.

Remember the day you stood before the Lord your God at Horeb, when the Lord said to me, "Assemble the people to Me, that I may let them hear my words so they may learn to fear Me all the days of their life on earth, and that they may teach their children."

Deuteronomy 3:9 & 10 (NASB)

God hasn't changed- He still requires the same heartfelt devotion from His people. We have responsibilities as parents, grandparents and to each other as brothers and sisters in Christ. Remember your Momma on Mother's Day! But give glory to God your Heavenly Father.

Finally, my favorite verses about a Godly woman are found in Proverbs chapter 31:10-31. I hope God can find all these qualities in me at the end of my days on this earth! Happy Mother's Day! May God help you be the mother and grandmother he asks you to be.

Green Bean Casserole may give you cramps and even make you dance!

How many of you have ever had "recipe surprises" that tickle your toes?

Well as usual, I was "experimenting" with a new one I've ate, but never made myself on Easter. Green Bean Casserole- every one's favorite right? :D Well, maybe not in our house. My mother in law was here and I asked her if she liked it. She said, "Oh yes, and I haven't had it since my mother was alive."

So of course that spurred me on. I got the recipe out, while Mark and his father were outside. (I have to be sneaky about some of my cooking. Mark thinks he hates onions, mushrooms and lots of other good ingredients, so I slip them in when he's not looking. Most of the time, he doesn't have a clue, and life goes on merrily.) I mixed all the ingredients and added the french fried onions on top, before we knew it it was time to eat.

The guys came in. Mark says, "Um, what smells so good?"

"I don't know? It might be the homemade macaroni and cheese or the green bean casserole, you're smelling."

We prayed, then began fixing our plates. Marky takes a little ham, sweet potatoes, corn, macaroni & cheese and even tries the green bean casserole, yeah hey! He eats all that, and by golly he goes back for more sweet potatoes and and another huge helping of green bean casserole. He finishes that, and scoops on an even larger helping of the green bean casserole. My eyes must have bugged out a little, my mother in law leans over and says, "Look at that, I thought you said he hates onions and mushrooms!"

"Rats!" Of course he heard. The fork action stops. You guessed it- I got "the glare." Mark didn't finish that last little bit.

A few hours latter after coconut cake and coffee Mark and I decided to take a shower. We're getting undressed and talking as usual. He tells me what a good supper it was and how he appreciates all the hard work. I smile, adjust the water and we step into the water.

All of the sudden, in the midst of soaping up, Mark grabs his hinnie and hollers, "Oh no!"

I have shampoo in my eyes, but I manage to see Mark sharting. (For those of you who may not know what that is, well it's when you think you have gas- but there's an eruption!) Needless to say green bean casserole decorated the shower wall.

All I could do was laugh. I laughed so hard, yellow water ran down my legs. :D Mark was extremely upset. He screamed, "I'm gonna tell you something right now, from now on there better not be anything in my green beans, except a little bit of butter. Do you understand me?"

Giggling even harder, I managed to grab him and just move his hinnie in front of the water. (There's no better place to shart, than in the shower! It just washes right down the drain!) I reminded him that probably wouldn't have happened if he wouldn't have made such a little piggy of himself.

"Kathy, I mean it-Nothing but butter in my green beans from now on."

Ha- little does he know the sausage casserole I made today for lunch had two small onions minced up and a can of mushroom soup in that too. ;D Don't worry he only ate one big bowl of that before he left for work today.

"A time to weep and a time to laugh,

A time to mourn and a time to Dance." Psalms 3:4 (NASB)

Live your Life with Zeal!

"Do Not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both the soul and the body in hell." Matthew 10:28

I watched a movie last night called, "Lady Jane." I selected it because I had a close family member who had nicknamed me "Lady Jane," when I was young. I use to ask, "Why do you call me that?" With a smile she'd reply, "When you get older you'll have to read the story-then you'll know why."

Latter, I found myself often calling Heidi, "Lady Jane" when she showed her stubborn or zealous passions for life and God. At times she seems so much like her Momma in both her body and soul. Yet she truly is a unique person in Christ . :)

"Lady Jane" was one of the best movies I think I've ever seen. It starts out extremely dry, in fact, I almost turned it off. After the first fifteen minutes the whole plot sped up and I was totally enchanted for the rest of the movie. I will not tell you about the story. I'd rather you just watch it for yourself-I think you'll agree it is a wonderful true story about zeal, passion and devotion to God at all costs.

Ignorance about life, love and the true values of life are NOT bliss. You will only make the most out of anything you do in life by researching the facts, finding a zeal in your commitments and whatever you do-do it for the glory of God.

"He who has found his life will loose it, and he who has lost his life for my sake will find it." Matthew 10:39 (NASB)

"The one who endures until the end, he will be saved." Matthew 23:13 (NASB)

"I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you." John 14:16 & 17 (NASB)

And this is why you can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens you!

God Bless You, today and always for seeking and serving Him.
