My GOD is ALWAYS GOOD

I'm always amazed the many ways God always takes care of His children. Heidi needed new tires on her car. Her car had set, the two and a half years, while she was gone on the left side of the drive, rarely driven. The tires were worn when she left for Italy, but by the time she arrived home, they were very dry rotted.

She really didn't want to replace them until she "had to." I continued to ask God to protect her while she was here. Continually I was amazed that she made long journeys to Michael's in South Carolina, long late night trips to Cumming to visit friends, and so many other trips here and there without a blow out. God simply cares for us in mysterious ways; how can we ever doubt His love and devotion?

The day she was planing to leave, I offered to take her to Wendy's for our last "girls date." We never made it to Wendy's,(which is less than 10 miles from our house) before a rear tire blew out on her car. The tire split wide open, much like a dried out puff ball that explodes from the summer heat and the slightest touch. During all those trips nothing happened- late at night, during the ice storm she drove through to Michael's house, or when others were riding with her.

God waited until I was traveling in a separate car with her, but before she left for another cross country trip to Texas. Needless to say we enjoyed one more day together. But before she left, she slapped four new tires from Walley World on her little car. The next morning my little gypsy was back on the road by 4:45 am. By 8:30 pm she arrived safe and sound in Fort Worth Texas to visit with her best friend Sara. God is always Good. He watches over my children more than I ever could. His watchful care is provided 24/7, He never slumbers- what an amazing Heavenly Father!

"For you were like sheep going astray, but now you have returned to the Shepard and overseer of your souls." 1 Peter 2:25 (NIV)

"The Lord sustains all who fall And raises up all who are bowed down.
The eyes of all look to You, And You give them their food in due time.
You open your hand And satisfy the desire of every living thing.
The Lord is righteous in all His ways And kind in all His deeds."
Psalm 145:14-17 (NIV)
