It is so GOOD to Laugh Again!

Psalm 126
1 When the LORD brought back the captives to
Zion, we were like men who dreamed.
2 Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, "The LORD has done great things for them."
3 The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.
4 Restore our fortunes,
O LORD, like streams in the Negev.
5 Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy.
6 He who goes out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with him.

Psalm 126 (NIV)

I understand what it is like to have long dry spells of sadness and depression in your life. After a while you just are so tired of crying and feeling sad. It's so good when people make you laugh! Last Thursday was one of those happy days for me. School went so well. I really am enjoying being back in school. I dreaded going back in some ways, but it has truly been a welcomed blessing!

It was so good to see I can still lighten other peoples loads, with my humor as well. I heard one guy in the back of the math class say "She's so darn funny, how does she come up with all of that so fast?"

The math teacher made the comment, "Two negatives always make a positive."

To which I quickly looked up and replied, "Someone needs to tell the banks that; because, every time I do that in my check book they just say, "you bounced and then you bounced again."

"So I guess, two negatives don't always make a positive, or at least where I come from." Mr. pony tail, looked back and rolled his eyes. "Yes, well in math it does, Kathy."

For all of you who have been praying for me, thank you so much. I earnestly need for your prayers. As in this case, it's gonna be hard to teach an old dog new tricks especially when the old dog has lived more than the math principles apply. I'm praying and loving you too, God bless and keep you all.
