How Eve and I are Similar and Different

I feel like this excited little kid who is finally getting what she always wanted. When I was about 10 years old I was so interested in the human body. I signed out every diagrammed human body book they'd allow me to check out from our school library. Every Christmas and birthday I begged for one of those human body models in the Sears catalog. Every year, twice a year, until I was fifteen I was given the same darn answer, "Kathy, those are just too expensive. We can't afford it."

I'm about to dive into Human Anatomy and Physiology at Athens Tech. (I would still like one of those cool models, but I know they're even more expensive now, so I will not even ask.) The anatomy book I ordered is so cool! It has transparent pages with all the parts-it's so cool!( I get to keep this book, woo-hoo!) I'm already studying the chapters, it is so amazing how God put so many details, and major functions into every little part; He really thought of everything. I know this is gonna be a hard class, but I'm so excited. Is it the 28TH of September yet? I'll be the weirdo on the front row asking so many questions, because the more I read the more I want to know.

5 "For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."
6 When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. 7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves."
Genesis 3:5-7 (NIV)

For the first time, I understand why Eve had to know. But unlike her, I probably would have said, "Cool beans, let's not cover up until we get cold." (Sorry if that's an offensive thought, but it's very honest.)
