It's so easy to get caught on the little glitches of the day isn't it? Here's a prime example, over all I had a pretty good day yesterday. However, I have a few annoying neighbors, both walk their dogs and let them use the bathroom in my yard. I'm thankful the one at least picks up his dogs poop, but the smell encourages the other dog to do the same in my front yard. Besides the smell I'm afraid of the worms they may be leaving for us to walk in. It's just rude to let your dog poop in someone else's yard. The neighbor who picks up the poop, also likes to know everything I'm doing, which really bugs me. He seems to find time just to stand and stare into my windows, sometimes for up to 20 minutes at a time.
"Each of us should please his neighbor for his good, to build him up. For even Christ did not please himself but, as it is written: "The insults of those who have insulted you have fallen on me. For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope." Romans 15:2-4 (NIV)
That being said these issues still need to be addressed. If you have suggestions, I'd love to hear them. Please, feel free to leave your comments anytime.
Every life has to have the good and the bad. All the events make up who we are. Happiness can only be found by focusing more on the positives than the negatives in life. No relationship is perfect. Christ is the only perfect friend I have, but even that relationship is tainted with my sin. Because He forgives and encourages me, I need to try to do the same with others.
The picture above is a picture of my brother in law, Randy. :) If he were here I know he'd just laugh and tell me he'd show 'em how it's done. (this is his homemade "pot" outside.)
