Don't be Way Laid by False Prophets

"See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of the world rather than on Christ." Colossians 2:8 (NIV)

"Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. These are a shadow of things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ."

Colossians 2:16 & 17 (NIV)

"Do not handle! Do not taste! Do not touch! These are all destined to parish with use because they are based on human commands and teachings. Such regulations indeed have an appearance of wisdom, with their self imposed worship, their false humility and their harsh treatment of the body, but they lack any value in restraining sensual indulgence." Colossians 2:21-23 (NIV)

Isn't that interesting? When Paul wrote this he was warning his Christian brothers and sisters to stay away from people who worshiped different phases of the moon. Today we still have people celebrating these things. They are FALSE doctrine-stop it.

He also warned against people who make a big fuss about what others may eat, such as pork, or drink, such as wine. In fact, there are at least three different verses in the Bible that I can think of that say that a little bit of wine is good for the stomach. There are SEVERAL verses on gluttony, which is a sin, but that is rarely addressed in the church today.

As time goes by, it is especially important to read your Bible and follow what it says. You will not be accountable for man's laws, but we are all accountable to God's laws.

Paul hit it smack on the head when he said, "with their self imposed worship, their false humility and their harsh treatment of the body, but they lack any value in restraining sensual indulgence."

In other words they were distracting others from real problems such as sexual immoralities to focus on non-sense. Christian, do not get caught up in the non sense and political correctness of this day and age; you are accountable for what God says.

See these: Psalm 104:15 (How true!) :)

Isaiah 55:1 (Wine isn't the issue- problems come when you don't know when you've had enough.)

1 Timothy 5:23 (Wine is good for both the stomach and your heart-research the facts.)

Fear the Lord First...

"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow His precepts have good understanding. To him belongs eternal praise." Psalm 111:10 (NIV)

"Choose instruction instead of silver, knowledge rather than choice gold, for wisdom is more precious than rubies and nothing you desire can compare to her."

Proverbs 8: 10& 11 (NIV)

"Buy the truth and do not sell it; get wisdom, discipline and understanding. The father of a righteous man has great joy; he who has a wise son delights in him."

Proverbs 23: 23 & 24 (NIV)

Train up a child in the way he or she should go and when he is old he will not depart from it-how true. I'm so thankful that when I was little, before I could read my mother let me look at the pictures in her Bible. I wanted to know the stories, so she took me to Sunday School.

I'm thankful for all the wonderful teachers I've had in and out of schools. They hold a special place in my heart. The great ones taught so much more than just book knowledge. Your love and kindness will always be appreciated!

I know the joy of my children's salvation! As a mom I consider their salvation one of my very best blessings from God! It's a gift even better than my own salvation, because I love them more than my own life. It's easier to live and die knowing one day we'll all meet up in heaven again.

Wisdom should begin at home. Where ever it begins, I hope you'll seek wisdom, grace and love in God, all the days of your life.

"My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ in whom all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge." Colossians 2: 2 & 3 (NIV)

Forgive and You will be Forgiven

"All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." 2ND Timothy 3:16 (NIV)

"Do not judge or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."

Matthew 7:1 & 2 (NIV)

"And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins , your Father will not forgive your sins." Matthew 6:13-15 (NIV)

That old familiar pain shoots straight to our heart, riping betrayal, abrupt stabbing pressure because what we did wasn't "good enough," or that stinging slap of rudeness, after you've tried so hard to please someone. All of those things are horribly painful. If they didn't go straight to your heart, then they're sure to shoot under your skin like a sharp fat thorn. Roses and Love have so much in common. Roses like love are beautiful, but roses and love both have thorns. You have to be very careful and patient with both. If you want a long stemed rose you have to cut it very carefully. If you want Love you'll have to forgive the thorns of pain.

The arrows of emotional hurts left untreated will literally kill you. The slivers and thorns can fester and become infected. It's better for you and the person who hurt you to confront them in a gentle matter. Outbursts only add gas to an already hot flame.

So often, I don't think people really even know when they've hurt anyone. I mess up daily, but often don't even realize what I did until someone says something. I seldom want to hurt others, especially the ones I love. When you love someone there will be times you offend and hurt each other, we're human-we sin.

Holding grudges hurts yourself worse than anyone else. Satan loves to fling those daggers that conquer and divide, don't let him. Forgiving others is more important for you than it is for those that sinned against you. Grudges are sin that can cause depression, which can lead to physical illness.

"Do not judge and you will not be judged. Do not condemn and you will not be condemned. Forgive and you will be forgiven." Luke 6:37 (NIV)

"Do to others as you'd have them do to you." Luke 6:31 (NIV)

We often Ask Why-But God Knows

"For He said to Moses,

"I will have mercy on whom I have mercy,

and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion."

"It does not, therefore, depend on man's desire or effort, but on God's mercy."

Romans 9:15 & 16 (NIV)

"One of you will say to me, "Then why does Gos still blame us? For who resists His will? But who are you, oh man, to talk back to God?" Shall what is formed say to Him who formed it, "Why did you make me like this?" Does not the potter have the right to to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for a nobble purposes and some for common use?" Romans 9:19 & 21 (NIV)

"What if God did this to make known to the objects of His mercy, whom He prepared in advance for His glory-even us whom He also called, not only from the Jews but also from the Gentiles?" Romans 9 : 23&24 (NIV)

"It will happen in that very place where it was said to them, "You are not my people, they will be called the sons of the Living God." Romans 9: 26 (NIV)

I'm going to share something with you I thought I'd NEVER share publicly. About eleven years ago Mark and I were in a horrible fight that lasted three horrible days. On the third day he threw me on the bed and was going to take what he wanted. I rolled back over and dug him as deep as I could with my finger nails across his chest.

He went to the emergency room for superficial wounds. The incident was reported and I went to jail. (Before this, I had never been to jail for anything.) I cried so hard from my shame, I could not make my one phone call. After falling asleep on that December 23rd, I awoke to a guards slithering hand moving down my jump suit, while another guard held my hands back. As the tears rolled, I was plotting how I'd hang myself from the bars with a sheet.Psychologically my mind and will were spent.

Two other inmates prevented my rape. One "crazy" lady jumped on the guards back who was touching me. She bit him until he bled and stopped touching me. Another lady pleaded with the other guard, until he took her in my place. To this day I don't know why they interceded for me.

A few hours before this happened I found a Bible and a copy of Our Daily Bread over in a corner. I picked it up and started reading, for my own comfort. The little crazy lady came over and asked if I'd read to her. I said, "sure." Before I knew it there were ten other women out of sixteen women gathered around me listening to Bible verses and stories from Our Daily Bread. I read until I got horse. Then I laid down and fell asleep. (Mark and I had been fighting so much; I was really tired.)

The little crazy lady was taken out and heavily medicated. She was still sleeping when I was sent home the next day. The lady who pleaded for them not to rape me was orally and anally raped. It still makes me cry to think about her. She only knew me for a few hours, but was willing to endure my pain and shame.

As bad as all this was, I have no doubt that regardless of whatever happens to this body, in this life, God is ALWAYS with me. I also learned that there are "good people" in bad places. More importantly I saw how much love God gave when He sent His sinless son to die for a broken sinful world, more than we can ever imagine.

Are you living for God?

"Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father? If you are not disciplined then you are illegitimate children and not true sons." Hebrews 12:7 & 8 (NIV)

I remember reading that when I was about twelve years old, about a year after I had accepted Christ as my Savior. Flashing red lights seemed to go off in my head. "Well I must really belong to God because every time I even think about doing wrong I am caught and punished."

Through the years though I can honestly say that correction has kept me on the "straight and narrow for Christ," for the most part. The dangers of getting off God's path is that your life can take major dives, which sometimes can lead to mortal and even spiritual death. Such would be the case if you chose to totally deny God.

God is a Holy God. He expects us to accept Him and live as He asks. When we get to heaven there will be certain things God will not tolerate there either. Think about it- would you want sin and ugliness in a Holy and perfect place? God will not tolerate either.

"But you have come to Mount Zion, to the heavenly Jerusalem, the city of the living God. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, to the church of the first born, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the judge of all men, to the spirits of righteous men made perfect, to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.

See to it you do not refuse Him who speaks. If they did not escape when they refused Him when they warned them on earth, how much less will we, if we turn away from Him who warns us in heaven?" Hebrews 12:25 (NIV)

"Therefore , since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire." Hebrews 12:28 (NIV)

When I was a child I couldn't understand why a loving God would send people to hell. Over time there have been some horribly wicked people who do unspeakable things to others. Some people choose to live a life of pure sinfulness. They have no regard for God or even other human lives. I totally understand why they can not spend eternity in God's light. They came from the darkness and would hate God's purity, light and love. Heaven would not be a blessing to God or His sons or daughters with these souls there. Hell does have a purpose.

"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked before us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of God.

Consider Him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and loose heart." Hebrews 12:1 (NIV)

Can you see how God pulls us closer to Him?

"We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed but not in despair; persecuted but not abandoned, struck down but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body." 2 Corinthians 8-10 (NIV)

"Therefore do not loose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So fix our eyes not on what is seen, but what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 16&17 (NIV)

If you'll go back and read that whole chapter in Second Corinthians chapter 4 I know your heart will be blessed. Then if you'll flip over and read Hebrews chapter 11 you'll see how God, used and is still using people today to testify of His goodness and love. By faith are you saved through Christ Jesus our Lord. Faith is the beginning and stabilizer of our lives. He who began that good work in us, will see us through this life, through our mortal death and on to our permanent bodies in heaven.

Age and life are a beautiful thing! I was talking to an old friend yesterday. Ironically, we were not that close as teenagers, in fact, I felt closer to her yesterday than ever before. That sister bond in Christ was so evident. Through age and the circumstances of life, God has brought us back together, she definitely is my sister in Christ. The blood that flows from Christ Jesus is thicker than mortal blood. If you're blessed with biological family that also know Christ you've been heaped a double scoop of mercy, love and grace! Be thankful for all your family in Christ Jesus. We're here together to strengthen and build each other up in Him.

Looking back there were so many bumps or storms that were continually pulling my soul closer to Christ Jesus. :) I can say with my whole heart, today, that I Am Thankful for the Sour as well as The Sweet. I was born to live and glorify Christ Jesus my Lord. It's not about me, but about Him. But the love, joy and peace I've gained on this journey has been truly awesome it makes my heart melt like sweet Cinnamon honey butter on savory hot bread. :)

May God continue to do a good work in all of us until we can Hug Him in glory; til we get there lets hug and encourage one another.

"These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised. God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect." Hebrews 11:39 &40 (NIV)

Enjoy the Journey

I love going to church. Once in a while though, I do enjoy just going for a really long walk in the mountains and spending time with God on a mountain. On days like this I'd rather not talk, just listen and be close to Him. Have you ever done that?

Sometimes it takes over an hour to get to where we're going, but the sights, smells and sounds are worth the journey. Not all the roads are always pleasant, in fact we generally endure some tight curves, pot holes and a few drop offs that could be deadly. Most of the time there are good and bad things to see.

Isn't it funny how life's journey is also like that? We all experience the tight curves, when you just hold on to Jesus because He's the only secure thing in life at that time. There are always the pot holes of illness, or financial grief. Then there are the alluring spots where we think we can obtain wealth, maybe a life style we shouldn't have, or career that if we're not careful can take us over the edge and become the grand finally. Such is life!

Whatever this life brings you I hope you'll hold on to Jesus and enjoy the ride!

"God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble.

Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea though it's waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.

There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells,God is within her and she will not fall; God will help her at the break of day." Psalm 46:1-5 (NIV)

"Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for healing the nations." Revelation 22:1-2 (NIV)

One time when I was very sick, in Louisiana, I slipped into a comma. Mark said I slept for 3 days straight. I seen the River of Life. It was more beautiful than words can describe. Heaven was so wonderful; I didn't want to come back. The journey is great, but the destination is to die for! :)

What Does God want from me?

God wants people who search for Him with their whole heart and soul. People who seek after God in this way will seek His will; God's gain becomes their gain. The happiest place we can be is in God's will. When we're out of God's will we're like fish trying to fight our way up stream-it's exhausting and ultimately unfulfilled.

Consider how Saul was viewed as king compared to David. "You acted foolishly, Samuel said. You have not kept the command the Lord God gave you; if you had, he would have established your kingdom over Israel for all time. But now your kingdom will not endure; the Lord has sought out a man after His own heart and appointed him leader of his people, because you have not kept the Lord's command."

1 Samuel 13:13 & 14 (NIV)

If we seek God every day through His word and prayer we will not fail. If God is for us who can be against us? God's advice is like tools or weapons arming us for our daily events. That doesn't mean we'll always choose what's right, but the right weapons for battle are there.

Keeping our life as clean as possible, through forgiveness, is also essential. God doesn't expect perfection, but we should be growing and going in the right direction. If you get on the wrong path, ask for forgiveness, and get back on the right road. The longer you wonder down the wrong path the worse you'll feel. Satan would love to make you feel like you've just gone to far to go back home, that's not how God feels. God always loves you and wants you back.

"What, then shall we say in response to this? If God is for us who can be against us?" Romans 8:31 (NIV)

"No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons neither the present or the future nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8: 37-39 (NIV)

God bless and keep you in His Love and will.

Look for the Good in Life

It's so easy to get caught on the little glitches of the day isn't it? Here's a prime example, over all I had a pretty good day yesterday. However, I have a few annoying neighbors, both walk their dogs and let them use the bathroom in my yard. I'm thankful the one at least picks up his dogs poop, but the smell encourages the other dog to do the same in my front yard. Besides the smell I'm afraid of the worms they may be leaving for us to walk in. It's just rude to let your dog poop in someone else's yard. The neighbor who picks up the poop, also likes to know everything I'm doing, which really bugs me. He seems to find time just to stand and stare into my windows, sometimes for up to 20 minutes at a time.

"Each of us should please his neighbor for his good, to build him up. For even Christ did not please himself but, as it is written: "The insults of those who have insulted you have fallen on me. For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope." Romans 15:2-4 (NIV)

That being said these issues still need to be addressed. If you have suggestions, I'd love to hear them. Please, feel free to leave your comments anytime.

Every life has to have the good and the bad. All the events make up who we are. Happiness can only be found by focusing more on the positives than the negatives in life. No relationship is perfect. Christ is the only perfect friend I have, but even that relationship is tainted with my sin. Because He forgives and encourages me, I need to try to do the same with others.
The picture above is a picture of my brother in law, Randy. :) If he were here I know he'd just laugh and tell me he'd show 'em how it's done. (this is his homemade "pot" outside.)

Face The Giants Head On

If you've never read the great stories about David, check out First and Second Samuel. David was a man after God's own heart! He faced every sinless time in his life knowing God was on his side. (David, like the rest of us had his sinful side too. When he chose to follow his own will instead of God's plan, but those are other events.)

When he faced the giant Goliath, "David said to the Philistine, "You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come today in the name of The Lord Almighty, the God of the army of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the Lord will hand you over to me, and I'll strike you down and cut off your head. Today I will give the carcasses of the Philistine army to the birds of the air and the beasts of the earth, and the whole world will know there is a God in Israel."

1 Samuel 17:45 & 46 (NIV)

David knew he wasn't facing that giant alone! No believer has to face any of his foes alone. Once we've accepted Jesus Christ we become a new creation created in His image. The Holy Spirit inside is there to direct and guide. God promises to never leave or forsake us, even through death.

A few years ago I had this tough little Boston Terrier dog. Boogie faced every day with zeal and enthusiasm-he was a a dog I'm sure God gave me to inspire and cheer me on in the rough spots of life. (You can read more about him in my book, Let's Really Live Before we Die! Just email me at:kathlenefisher@yahoo.com. I'll send you the details.)

One day a big Rottweiler dog came into our yard. This bad boy weighed close to 200 pounds. Boogie spotted him almost immediately. Boogies hair on his back stood straight up, his eyes bugged out a little farther than normal and he began to growl. The guy next door warned me, "Lady, you better calm your dog down; that Rottweiler will bite him in half."

A gut wrenching sensation went through me as that big dog growled back at my little 18 pound Boogie. That was all it took, Boogie ran right up under that 200 pound bad boy; nailed him in the gonads. Bloodied Brutus went running home to papa. After that that big old dog never even came close to our yard again to do his business.

We will all face trials and temptations in our lives. Most of us will suffer from some kind of physical hardship before our time on earth is complete. Often we just need to approach our fears relying on God. Then tackle the problem with your best shot first. Continue the fight with grace, faith and peace on your side, 'til we meet again on the other side.

Like the great leaders of the Bible I hope we can all say: "I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well feed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want I can do everything through Him who gives me strength."

Philippians 4:13 (NIV)

Enjoy the journey. Learn and Love much it's worth the pain, for His gain. Hope you have a great day! Love ya, :)

"What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord..." Philippians 3:8 (NIV)

Long Term Goals

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.

You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."

Jeremiah 29:11-13 (NIV)

Have you ever thought about the size and wingspan of a bumblebee? Probably not, but according to their size, shape and wingspan, scientifically they shouldn't be able to fly. Guess a bumblebee doesn't care about their probability statistics. :) They're simply flying on the ability God gave them. Yes, they may be slow, but watch them go.

Consider an army ant, they can carry twice the amount of their body weight. It's easy to worry about what others think, but it's important to remember our abilities do not come from probabilities, but from our Creator and Sustainer. If God calls you to do something you'll have the ability through His provisions.

"When Noah sailed the ocean blue,

He had problems the same as you.

For 40 days he drove the ark,

Before he found a place to park."

Wayne Cordeiro

It's okay to be in the midst of a storm-just don't let the storm get inside your heart and rule you. Remember what God said, "I have plans for you to prosper and not harm you." What He says he delivers. Life really isn't about the mortality of these bodies we currently exist in. Focus on the future! Get to know God better, build relationships with other believers and help bring others to Christ for His glory.

"When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with the immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: "Death has been swallowed up in victory." 1 Corinthians 15:53-54 (NIV)

"Therefore my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourself fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain." 1 Corinthians 15:58 (NIV)

These mortal bodies, we now exist in, only have a purpose for a season. :)

Are you attracted to the Light and Water?

When I was a child there were two things that always gave me a sense of peace- light and running water. My family lived just east of Prairie Creek. Every chance I had, I would go down there to swim or fish. I really just wanted to be near the bubbling water that splashed over a little dam. I also wanted to feel the sunlight on my face. I still seek water and light today.

If you ever visited my house you may have noticed mirrors on the wall. They are there to reflect light through my house. On my back porch you probably heard the water from a homemade water fountain and a small waterfall running from my goldfish pond. (Roscoe, my dog thinks the little fountain is the best drinking bowl around. The trickling sounds relaxes me when I lay down, provided I don't drink too much before I go to bed. :)

Before I was ever born God knew would be His. We were all created for His glory. Jesus draws our souls to water and light for even more important reason. Light exposes dirt and water cleanses and refreshes us.

A long time ago, I use to love jumping in the cold creek and then laying in the warm sand. The sun would beat down warming every part of me. Then I would dive in that cool water, as I resurfaced, you'd see me beaming from ear to ear bathing in total satisfaction. Do you ever look back and see how God had your life preplanned? The people, places and events seem to have a purpose and are all part of His plan.

Meditating on God's Word is the Son light and Living Water in our lives. It illuminates every part of our life. When there is sin, God the Father provides forgiveness, through Jesus the Son. As we ask for forgiveness, Jesus blood washes over our lives like a clean refreshing stream.

"You, O Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light."
Psalms 18: 28 (NIV)

"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill can not be hidden."
Matthew 5:14 (NIV)

"In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your father in heaven." Matthew 5:16 (NIV)

"My people have committed two sins: They have forsaken me the spring of living water, and have dug their own cisterns, broken cisterns cannot hold water."
Jeremiah 2:13 (NIV)

"Jesus answered,"Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life." John 4:13 (NIV)

As God's living water and light flow through us may we draw others to His Light and Living Water, God bless you today and always.

Focus on Love and Life, but be prepared for Death

Take the time to read Deuteronomy Chapter 11. Notice all the wisdom God instructs us to live and pass on to our children,so that the days of their life will be long. "Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up....so that your days and the days of your children may be many..."

Deuteronomy 11:18-21 (NIV)

Last Monday I got a call that one of our friends had passed away expectantly. In fact, his wife had just taken him to the doctor for some blood work. When they arrived home he was tired, so he laid down for a short nap. His wife went in to wake him up 30 minutes latter, but his soul was gone.

Often we get so get so caught up in all the "things" we think we need to do we often forget to live. This man had several things he wanted to do last Monday, but they go undone today. His wife laid her husband to rest on her birthday. I can't imagine how sad that day must have been for her. She buried her best friend, lover and the father of 4 of her children on what should have been a happy day.

The next day grew even darker. The family discovered many outstanding bills. At one point this man had plenty of money to pay his house off, buy a decent life insurance plan, and provide the basic necessities for his family. The money was squandered. Now his wife feels betrayed, as she wonders if she'll be able to maintain her house, bills and food for the boys on her lean Social Security check.

Buying temporary toys, such as cars, trips and frivolous things is meaningless, if you can't insure the basics when you pass away. It is vital that people you claim to love are assured you loved them, not just with words but by your actions. Express your love with hugs and kisses. Share your innermost thoughts and wisdom. Show those you love about God through your actions. Teach those you leave behind the ability to provide for themselves. More important than all these things let them know how to secure their eternity with God the Father through a direct personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Let them see His love through your life, so much that they'll accept Him too. If you really love Jesus, shouldn't you share Him?
